You may not realize how much your fears have a hold over your life. People should be able to make decisions free from distraction and doubt. Fear is the factor that limits you and brings you farther from your goals. If excellence is what you are striving for, fear will be the first thing in the way. Achieving great things in life requires taking risks, and taking risks means allowing a greater possibility of error. Fear tells us that we are more like to fail than succeed. And God wants you to succees big time.
If you dive into pursuing your goals with the best of your abilities you have nothing to worry about. Embrace all the things you experience – even failure. That is how you learn.
Your comfort zone is a place where you are stagnant. This is a place where you feel safe and away from failure. Staying in this area means denying growth and missing opportunities. Excellence is achieved by going beyond your current self. It is a constant breaking of barriers in search of greater heights. New experiences will teach you a lot. It will show you the ways and wonders of the world. Facing new challenges will not only elevate your skills and standards, it will also teach to you be humble.

God has ordained you to be a winner in life. However, if you don’t have the spirit of a winner, you will never succeed in life. If you don’t have the mindset and the attitude that you are victorious, you will not be an overcomer. In this hour, God is bringing forth His prophets to reshape the mind of man and to change the thoughts of His people. He wants to destroy some of the “sacred cows” that His people have so diligently upheld in their lives, and thus have only worked toward their demise. But growth demands change! Change of values, beliefs, opinions and, what Rev. Ike describes as “stinking thinking.” There is no devil outside of you causing havoc in your life. No! You must change your belief system. Stop believing the lies that the world has woven into the very fabric of your thinking.
For God says you are victorious! You are the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. (Deuteronomy 28:13) L.S. Hamaker once said, “Always remember that the soundest way to progress in any organization is to help the person ahead of you to get promoted.” Beloved, it is God’s desire that you get promoted to the next level of life. It is God’s desire to bring you into a level of mastery over the vicissitudes of life and teach you how to walk in your Divine Sonship. It is God’s desire that you receive ALL that God has earmarked for you to enjoy while dwelling here on earth!

In the context of spiritual warfare, our spiritual authority is based on the acknowledgement that we are in Christ and that God gave us the authority to overcome the enemy. Spiritual authority is based on faith in Christ, not faith in ourselves. We pray in tongues in the process of the ministry of inner healing and deliverance because we know we need God to be able to help fellow believers undergo this process.
Demons will try to convince believers that they do not have any authority in this matter. Authority is not a feeling. If believers feel scared or inadequate, it does not mean that they have less authority. Christ’s authority over demons is not diminished by the lack of courage or confidence on our part in ourselves. Instead, we need to be sure of Christ’s authority. It is through Jesus that we are able to have authority over these demons. However, Christians are no threat to Satan when we do not declare Christ’s authority because of our doubts and fears of personal inadequacy
